Folding Time is an un-narrated collection of panoramic time-lapse videos of the building of Black Rock City from 2002 thru 2007. Robert Henrikson and Timothy Childs installed photography systems at a number of key locations in the city to capture the rolling waves of growth and destruction which occur at Burning Man each summer. From the building of The Man and Center Cafe, to buring of notable art projects and Saturdays climating celebration.

Over a four week period, four different cameras captured a portion of citizen activity—every hour,  every day,  pre-event to post-event. Watch the birth of Black Rock City, watch how it grows and teems with inhabitants, then suddenly disappears in a burning flash. This collection of short clips are a wonderful and captivating visual treat.
