One Minute To Burn

This cinematic buffet of Burning Man highlights is an entertaining collection of very short videos, each capturing a moment of the random creativity and spontaneity that make Burning Man so vibrant. Atmospheric and experimental, each segment is filmed and directed employing different photography, editing and visual techniques. Each clip is around one-minute long, then edited together to create a poetic and continuous audio and visual stream. As a collection, this is a snapshot of the beautiful glimpses into many of “playa moments” and stories in-the-making.
“This is my Burning Man doc that was actually a gift from the internet bubble of 2000. I signed with a internet company that paid me $12,000, gave me a brand new Sony PD-150, and a bunch of video tape. I was going to give them the film I shot of the Burning Man event. I though It take me a few weeks to edit, but Mo Stoebe and I took about nine months to finish because of the incredible amount of video I shot. When I called to tell them I was ready to show the movie, which was fifty one minute films, there was no one picking up the phone. They had gone out of business and there was no paperwork so I got to keep the camera, the tape and the movie. Go inter-net bubble. ” – Paul Andresen
